In the past few days there have been rumors out there flying around about Jon Scheyer possibly coming back to Duke to be an assistant with the basketball program. It has caused a lot of excitement the past few days for Duke fans. Now it is being reported that the deal is done! I myself, am glad to see Scheyer back on the bench working with the Duke team. Although he may have been seen as a quiet warrior when he played, I think he can bring his intensity and skills to help Duke basketball continue to excel! The guy had one of the best assist to turnover ratios (lead the nation with a 4.8-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio) in the NCAA playing at the point guard spot for the 2010 National Championship team when he was a natural shooting guard! If anybody knows how to adapt and excel at it, it would be Jon! Jon is a welcome addition to the Duke Basketball staff! It's always a good thing to have another National Champion on the bench!
