I have always had 2 things I'm the most passionate about above others. That would be following Duke basketball and chasing an Endless Summer. As I start the 2nd half of summer with road trips I realize its about that time to join the Iron Dukes again. If you have never joined its worth the $ to get to experience Duke games. CTC and the start of the season will be here soon. If you have followed my site and articles before, you are aware that I take you with me on the experiences of CTC, Coaches Clinic, games sitting with the students, life of students in K ville and the Duke Unc game. This years team looks to be an exciting team to watch. The plan again is to make another run of CTC, Coaches Clinic, a few games and cap it off with Duke Unc. Stay tuned as we get ready for the upcoming season. The NC Proam trip is up in the air due to lack of Duke players showing up. Plans are still to release an article on top sports to grab food after a Duke game. I also have something really cool in the works so check back here in near future. Until then, the road is calling me these next few weeks. I plan to represent Duke well in Miami, Key West, Cozumel, Myrtle Beach, and Durham. Thanks for following, Go Duke, and enjoy your endless summer!
![]() Congrats to JJ on getting picked up by trade to the Los Angeles Clippers. I believe JJ has found a good team that will utilize his deadly shooting skills. I have enjoyed following his career especially with him being a local and representing the Roanoke region well. JJ will now be teamed up with Chris Paul (one of the best point guards in the NBA). JJ and Chris Paul already know each other from their days playing against each other in the ACC. From former rivals to teammates...they should make for a deadly back court. Throw in the dunking machine Blake Griffin and this will be a fun team to watch next season. Pic to the left I took at the 2011 CTC, when JJ returned to be a guest judge for the dunk contest. |
