![]() The links below will take you to post game interviews I did with Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood after the Duke win over VT at Cameron Indoor Stadium on 2/25/14. I also sat in on interviews being done with Rasheed Sulaimon. Duke built an impressive lead in the 1st half but then VT chipped away from the Duke lead. Duke ended up winning by a score of 66-48. This was Duke's 5th game in 11 days. Duke now has 7 days off before they travel to Wake to play on Wednesday March 5th. I will be down at the ESPN Game Day at Cameron Indoor Stadium for the Duke Unc rematch on Saturday March 8th. Follow @DukeReport on Twitter as I will send out some tweets/pics from the ESPN Game Day experience. Below the player interview links, are some pics I took from Cameron and Kville from this past VT game. ![]() What a crazy few days it's been! I was down at the UNC vs. Duke game in Chapel Hill last Thursday. My 1st game in Chapel Hill and it was Duke. Duke didn't bring their A game, played one of the worst halfs of their season and lost to UNC. It sucked to see Duke lose to UNC. UNC fans brought their A game that night! It wasn't the typical wine and cheese crowd at the Dean Dome. I was impressed with the atmosphere at the Dean Dome...it was very loud! I wasn't able to send out tweets for @DukeRport due to the lack of range and reception in the Dean Dome. 2 more weeks and Duke gets UNC at Cameron! Next was the epic rematch with Syracuse at Duke. What a game and what an ending! And yeah Jim Boeheim...worse call of the year wasn't that play at Duke...it was the foul on Rodney Hood when he attempted the dunk at Syracuse! Sucks to be on the other end of the calls... doesn't it Jim? So it's been an up and down type momentum the last few days for Duke fans. 4 games in 8 days I'm sure has played its toll on the Duke team as well. Be sure to follow my tweets over @DukeReport tomorrow night as I will be sending live tweets from Kville and press row for the Duke vs. VT game which is on ESPNU at 7pm. The link below will take you the video I shot at the Dean Dome of UNC fans rushing the court after upsetting Duke. That's my best friend Jamie (UNC fan) dancing in the pic lol. As you can tell...even at Carolina... you beat Duke and its your Super Bowl win... a win where fans are gonna rush the court. See you all tomorrow night on Twitter @DukeReport reporting live from the Duke/VT game. Finally...after the crazy weather last week..Duke vs. Unc will happen Thursday night 9pm at the Dean Dome. Follow me on Twitter @DukeReport as I'll send out some pics of the atmosphere before the game starts. Yes, I will be at the game. I'm going to the game with 3 friends who are Unc fans. I feel sorry for them lol. . I'm sure I will feel the love in the Dean Dome as I take off the black jacket to reveal the Duke blue tshirt that reads "Beat Carolina". Here's looking forward to another game in the epic rivalry. Go Duke and GTHC! ![]() We are 1 day away from one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports. Duke vs Unc. Plans are still on for us to make the game in Chapel Hill even with the possible weather coming. This past summer, I was on my way to see a Dave Matthews Band concert in Charlotte but somehow (for a friend's request) made a stop at the Dean Dome in Chapel Hill. Next thing I know, I'm taking a tour of the UNC locker room and basketball facilities. I realized one thing...I must reenact the Rivers shot!!! However, there was a camp going on in the Dean Dome. I thought I was out of luck, till I walked in the UNC Basketball Museum. There it was... a half court set up inside the museum for me to reenact the Rivers shot. I had watched the video several times off my DVR the night before of the game with the Rivers buzzer beater. I knew where the exact spot was. I set up for the shot and had a friend take the pic. I left the Dean Dome that summer day with a priceless pic and with an even better realization of the I'm guessing very few people have been in both locker rooms of what is one of the biggest rivalries in all sports. With that said, I might even do an article in the future of visiting heaven and hell...aka.. the Duke and Unc locker rooms. Last season I made the Duke vs. Unc game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. It had been on the bucket list and I finally did it. We all know that is one of the toughest tickets in all sports. Students camp out several days just to get in that game and fans drop over a $1,000 to get in. With the game in Chapel Hill only 1 day away... here is something to hold you over....here is some links on some of my work I did documenting my experience of Unc at Duke last year. 1st link will take you to my article for Duke Report on my Duke vs. Unc Game Experience. 2nd link will take you to my short movie I made documenting the Duke vs. Unc game experience. Rivalry week is finally here! Go Duke and GTHC! Click on the link below to see the poll results @DukeReport on which ACC road venue would you as a Duke fan most like to attend a game at. I was surprised by 1st place. I thought for sure the Dean Dome would have won. Be sure to follow @DukeReport on Twitter next Wednesday as I will be reporting on the scenne at the Dean Dome for the Duke Unc game. If you get the chance to check out a Duke road game..go for it! Support the Blue Devils at home and on the road. Go Duke!
